Newer models of the Waterway Pro Clean Plus filters (2016+) use 2.5″ unions on both the intake and the discharge of the filter tank. The assembly may use an o-ring (805-0232) or a ribbed flat gasket (711-6020). They are available in both white and black, and with a few different adapters, 2″ slip being the most popular. Pro Clean filter gets a new drain plug

Starting 2015-2016 the new Pro Clean Plus filters will have a new , larger drain. This means a new part number for the “drain cap”. On left is the original ( 550-0420)Pro Clean drain cap. Pictured on the right is the new Pro Clean Plus drain cap (519-0280)
New Pro Clean Lids
5 Apr This might get a little complicated. The “old “style Pro Clean lids (on right) are no longer available. They have been replaced with the Pro Clean Plus lid ( on left). However , you will need to order it with the “old ” lock ring.
