This is economical solution for filtering with a sand filter on an above ground pool. This center discharge pump runs within Department of Energy standards but has enough power to backwash a 22″ diameter sand filter. It will replace the pump from Model 520-1700 TWM Sand Filter. It will allow for a 8-10 hour turnover of 24,000 to 30,000 gallons, with a flow rate of approx. 50 gpm.
